The Connected Summit is back and bigger than ever before! Now in its 12th edition, the annual even will run from 2nd – 5th April 2023.
Dubbed the #ConnectedSummit2023, the annual ICT thought leadership gathering, will host over 1,000 regional and global ICT industry thought leaders, key policymakers, high-profile industry champions and executives, financiers and ICT innovators.

Initiated in 2009, the summit is jointly organized by the Ministry of ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs, ICT Authority, in collaboration with the private sector and other stakeholders. Its aim is to establish a platform for collaboration, capacity building, and knowledge sharing between the government and the ICT sector with a view of linking and hastening the implementation of government IT projects to world-class standards.
The summit will kick off with a pre-summit training program that will run from the 30th of March to the 1st of April 2023. The training program will focus on equipping participants with the skills and knowledge they need to stay at the forefront of the rapidly evolving ICT industry.
Customarily, the Connected Kenya Summit will feature an exclusive Women in Tech Forum that will provide a platform for women in the ICT sector to share their experiences and insights on how to thrive in a male-dominated industry. The Women in Tech Forum promises to be an inspiring and empowering event that will highlight the achievements of women in the ICT sector and provide insights into how to break through the glass ceiling.
Another highlight of the summit will be the Waziri Golf Forum, which will provide an opportunity for golf enthusiasts in the ICT sector to network, engage in friendly competition and discuss the latest trends and developments in the industry.
In addition, the Ministry Of Information, Communication And The Digital Economy will be launching a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program during the summit, where they will be providing free Wi-Fi to the public. This program is aimed at bridging the digital divide and ensuring that all Kenyans have access to the internet.
The summit will feature high-profile speakers, including the Cabinet Secretary Ministry Of Information, Communication And The Digital Economy, and a Regional Ministerial Breakfast where regional ministers will share their insights on the importance of ICT in driving economic growth and development.
